Atlanta-based web agency rebuilds site for premiere travel and youth sports destination, making live event broadcasts easier to watch from anywhere
ALPHARETTA, GA – July 28, 2026 – Clockwork Web Dev, an Atlanta-based web development agency announces the launch of a redesigned website for LakePoint Sports, one of the country’s premier travel and youth sports venues. The new website, live at lakepointsports.com, is making it easier to tune in for competitions across the 1,300-acre campus north of Atlanta. The venue hosts more than 30 sports year-round and welcomes roughly 2.4 million visitors a year.
LakePoint draws club teams, elite youth athletes, and families from across the country for national tournaments, and many of those families follow their athletes from home. LakePoint has streamed events live for years, from the courts inside its Champions Center to the action at Baseball Village. Those broadcasts were spread across separate platforms, which made them harder for some fans to figure out. The centerpiece of the rebuild is a “Now Streaming” system that solves that problem, with a site-wide live indicator and event-level badges that point fans straight to the right broadcast the moment a game goes live.
The redesign refreshed the homepage and interior pages alike, with the homepage carrying the boldest version of the new look. Clockwork brought far more motion and richer graphics across the site, including dynamic images of athletes who appear to break out of their frames, a look drawn from LakePoint’s own brand guidelines, while keeping the established color palette intact.
LakePoint has hosted with the Clockwork team since 2019. As the campus grew, that hosting support scaled alongside it, moving from a shared server to a dedicated one and now running on a managed care plan for year-round updates and security. The rebuild added a fresh tech stack and a cleaner set of plugins, which improved speed and gave the redesigned homepage room to carry more motion and graphics into the rest of the site without slowing down.
Key features of the new website include:
- A “Now Streaming” system with a site-wide live indicator and event-level badges that switch on and off automatically with each event’s schedule, pointing fans to the correct broadcast
- A unified news hub consolidating news, press releases, and Champions Insider content into one filterable archive
- A custom post type structure for camps, leagues, and activities, so staff can add new programs without touching code
- A redesigned homepage and refreshed interior pages, with richer motion and graphics, a live stats bar, and clearer navigation across the campus
- An interactive campus map that helps visitors get their bearings across the 1,300-acre property
- Managed hosting on a Clockwork care plan with a modernized tech stack for faster load times alongside ongoing updates and security
